MSSU Honor Band
Our schedule for the MSSU honor band Friday November 1 through Saturday November 2 is as follows:
FRIDAY:
4:00 p.m. – Arrive at the JH band room and begin to load (eat something before arriving)
4:15 p.m. – Depart Neosho
4:50 p.m. – Arrive at MSSU, unload, and check in
5:30 p.m. – Welcome performance
6:00 p.m. – Rehearsal 1
7:30 p.m. – Break
7:45 p.m. – Rehearsal 2
9:00 p.m. – Announcements
9:15 p.m. 'ish' – Depart
9:50 p.m. 'ish' – Return to Neosho
SATURDAY:
7:45 a.m. – Arrive at the JH band room and begin to load (eat something before arriving)
8:00 a.m. – Depart Neosho
8:40 a.m. – Arrive at MSSU, unload, and check in
9:00 a.m. – Rehearsal 3
10:30 a.m. – Break
10:45 a.m. – Rehearsal 4
12:00 p.m. – Lunch (provided by MSSU)
1:00 p.m. – Rehearsal 5
1:50 p.m. – Break
2:00 p.m. – Rehearsal 6
2:50 p.m. – Break
3:00 p.m. – Rehearsal 7
4:00 p.m. – Change into concert attire
5:00 p.m. – JH Concert
5:45 p.m. – HS Concert
6:30 p.m. 'ish' – Depart
7:00 p.m. 'ish' – Return to Neosho
The performance will be held at MSSU’s Taylor Auditorium: 3950 Newman Rd., Joplin, MO
What you need to bring: your instrument, mallets/sticks, reeds, and concert attire:
Boys: Black slacks, black dress shoes, black socks, and white collared dress shirt
Girls: Black dress, or Black dress pants or skirt & white blouse
dress or skirt should be knee length or longer while seated
