Drury Jazz Festival

2025 Drury Jazz Festival Itinerary March 1st 

Please eat something before arriving, or bring snacks for the ride

11:00 AM  -  Arrive at the high school & begin to load (help Rhythm Section)

11:15 AM -  Depart Neosho HS 

12:45 PM -  Arrive at Drury and begin to unload 

Studio Band

1:00 PM -  Warmup O’Bannon 101

1:30 PM  -  Perform Spangler Hall

Stage Band 

2:00 PM -  Warmup 212 President’s Dining Hall

2:30 PM  -  Perform Findlay Student Center Ballroom

Jazz Combo 

3:00 PM -  Warmup 212 President’s Dining Hall

3:30 PM  -  Perform Findlay Student Center Ballroom

Everyone

4:00 PM -  Dinner/Meal Break

5:30 PM -  Awards and closing concert in Spangler Hall

6:30 PM -  Depart Drury

8:00 PM‘ish’ -  Arrive in Neosho

Dress: ALL BLACK DRESS CLOTHES - No jeans, no tennis shoes, no tee shirts, no sequins/bow ties/bolo ties etc.

Lunch & Dinner:

Please eat lunch before you arrive.  We will not stop for lunch.  Students will need money for fast food meal/early dinner.  Students may want to bring snacks for the bus ride there and back.

Etiquette: Please be good ambassadors for the Neosho Band Program. Be humble, complimentary of others, and please… no phones out during performances or the clinic! Please DO cheer and clap for things you like in performances. Jazz is about community and having a good time. Be very receptive during the clinics!

Equipment:  Double check that you have your music, instrument, mouthpiece, reeds/accessories, cords, etc. NO EXCUSES!!!

Rhythm Section: Bring everything except some vibes. Check on all gear before leaving Neosho and Drury.

* No equipment is supplied at the warm up rooms.

Parent Check-Out: Parents must sign you out in person with a director if you are not returning to Neosho on the bus!
