Wildcat Pride Events (UPDATE)

So with COVID-19 cancelling many events both in and out of band we are looking at meaningful opportunities and experiences for students in our program to continue to grow and develop. Below is our current plan for the Wildcat Pride Marching Band's season this year:

Our early morning rehearsals will run from 7am-7:30 Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays beginning August 25th. We will conclude those by October 22nd if not earlier. We will try to perform our show with the full band at two games. More information will come as those get closer. We also plan to have two marching clinics and parent performances during the season. We will feed students dinner at those events. Currently, we are holding off on Band Banquet. It is an event that may not happen till the spring if we do it.

August 18th - Back to School performance in the stadium. Students report at 7am. Complete by 9am.

August 21st - Parent Preview in the stadium. Students report at 5:30pm. Performance at 6pm.

August 25th - Early morning rehearsals begin

August 28th - Home Football game (section leaders and Band A). Students report at 6pm

September 1st - Band Booster Parent Meeting 6pm in high school band room

September 3rd - Evening rehearsal 5:30pm-7:30pm in the stadium

September 10th - Evening rehearsal 5:30pm-7:30pm on the south practice field

September 12th - Mattress fundraiser (more info coming soon!)

September 17th - Evening rehearsal 5:30pm-7:30pm in the stadium

September 18th - Home Football game (section leaders and Band B). Students report at 6pm

September 24th - Evening rehearsal 5:30pm-7:30pm in the stadium

September 26th - Marching clinic 12:30-4:30pm, dinner provided, parent performance at 6pm

September 30th - Homecoming Parade on TBD 3pm-5pm (times likely will fluctuate if this event is approved)

October 1st - Evening rehearsal 5:30pm-7:30pm on the south practice field

October 2nd - Home Football game (section leaders and Band A). Students report at 6pm

October 6th - Band Booster Parent Meeting 6pm in high school band room

October 8th - Evening rehearsal 5:30pm-7:30pm in the stadium

October 9th - Home Football game (FULL BAND perform at halftime). We will take an abbreviated band during the game, but the full band will perform at halftime. Report to the south practice field at 6pm

October 13th - Evening rehearsal 5:30pm-7:30pm in the stadium

October 17th - Marching clinic 12:30-4:30pm, dinner provided, parent performance at 6pm

October 20th - Evening rehearsal 5:30pm-7:30pm in the stadium

October 22nd - Final early morning rehearsal if not sooner

October 23rd - Home Football game (FULL BAND perform at halftime). We will take an abbreviated band during the game, but the full band will perform at halftime. Report to the south practice field at 6pm
