BOA St. Louis Super Regional
The next contest of 2015 is the Bands of America Super Regional held at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis. Our performance is on Saturday October 17th, but we will be staying overnight on the 16th due to how early we perform. The schedule and information for the weekend is as follows:
Friday
1:00 p.m. – Depart high school
3:30 p.m. – Stop in Lebanon for restroom break
6:00-8:00 p.m. – Stop at West County Center for food and shopping
8:15 p.m. – Check-in at the Drury Inn Fenton
8:30-10:00 p.m. – Relax at hotel (there is a pool if you want to bring swim attire)
10:00 p.m. – Report to rooms for attendance and inspection
10:30 p.m. – GO TO SLEEP!!!
Saturday
4:30 a.m. – RISE ‘N SHINE!!!
5:00 a.m. – Breakfast at the hotel (EAT, EAT, and EAT SOME MORE)
5:45 a.m. – Depart for BOA
6:15 a.m. – Arrive at the Edward Jones Dome, Check-In, Unload, Get into Uniform
7:00 a.m. – Move to warm-up area
7:10 a.m. – Physical Warm-Up
7:30 a.m. – Music Warm-Up
8:05 a.m. – Report to Staging Area
8:15 a.m. – WILDCAT PRIDE MARCHING BAND PERFORMS!!!!
After performance get pictures taken, get out of uniform, and load the trailers
We will then have some snacks provided by the boosters
10:30 a.m. – Watch Bands in Performance
1:00 p.m.-1:45 p.m. – Break – Meal provided by the boosters at this time outside dome
1:45 p.m. – Watch remaining bands in preliminary performance
Directly AFTER Broken Arrow Performs return to the buses for departure
4:30 p.m. – Depart for Neosho
6:30 p.m. – Stop for Dinner in Lebanon
10:30 p.m.’ish’ – Arrive in Neosho. Unload bus, and trailer.
What you need to bring: your uniform, gloves, shoes, black socks, black athletic shorts, your band shirt, your instrument, mallets, sticks, reeds, flags, rifles, money for dinner, Friday, dinner Saturday, shopping, concessions, etc. In addition, an overnight bag with a change of clothes, swim attire (if you plan on swimming at the hotel), toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, sleeping attire, etc.
This performance will be at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis, MO. General Admission prices are $20. Reserved seating is $51. This is for prelims only. Booster organization will provide a meal for the students late in the afternoon.
Be courteous to other groups and to each other! Remember, you are representing the band, music department, the school, and all of Neosho! Please conduct yourselves accordingly!
